The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group knows exactly where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could help the group enter places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can expect learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
